My weekends are not always complete if I fail to take a trip to one of the finest and interesting tourist attractions in Cape Coast.
The direction took me to Fort Williams in Anomabo when I learnt tones of history in relation to slavery and what there is to know.
In one of the dungeons where the slaves were kept for days and weeks before transporting or shipping them to the Western World, I saw this rectangular wooden structure just at the entrance.
As curious as I am, I asked an old lady who is familiar with the history of the Fort narrated this to me.
